Subscription Inquiries
A magazine subscription can take 6-8 weeks to start. The time you have to wait usually varies by the frequency of the publication. If you want to know the status of your subscription, please click here.

Renewals and renewal notices

As an additional service to our subscribers, we will send you a renewal notice in the email when your subscription is about to expire. This is NOT spam. It is a service we deliver for the magazine companies as a function of customer service. When you receive your renewal notice in the email, if you choose to renew at that time, it should prevent any interruption of service. As always, the choice to renew is yours. We will never automatically renew a subscription on your behalf.

If you discover that a magazine you are receiving has not met your expectations, please let us know. We will credit your account for the unserved issues and help you find a title of comparable value that is more to your liking.

How To Order
There are two ways of making a magazine selection …

  • Search by magazine title.
  • Choose a category and select the magazine title.

Once you’ve selected a magazine title, simply click on Order Now. This will place your selection into an electronic shopping cart and begin our secure ordering process.

  • A summary of magazines that you have selected will be displayed, and you will have a chance to verify the accuracy of your order.
  • To change a quantity, Click on the magazine cover, which will take you back to the order screen, Make your changes in the “quantity” box.
  • To remove an item, simply click “Remove”

To continue shopping, click on Continue Shopping. This will take you back to the magazine categories list. 

Once you have finished shopping, go to your electronic shopping cart and click on “Checkout”. This will take you to your order screen. A screen displaying a summary of what you ordered and the total cost of the purchase will appear. 

To make corrections, click on “view cart” on the top navigation bar.
This will take you to your shopping cart.

  • To remove an item, Simply click “Remove“.
  • To change quantities, enter the quantity beside the product and click “Update

We will ask you for your billing and shipping information, then you select the method of payment and enter the credit card number and expiration date (mm/yyyy). Once this information is entered, click on Submit Order. 

For renewals, you simply only need to check the checkbox marked “Renewal”. The rest is automatically handled. No renewal code is required. 

A confirmation page showing your order and a confirmation number will appear. Print this page — it will serve as your online receipt. 

Within 24 hours you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

Frequently Asked Questions 

How do I make corrections to my order?
To make corrections, click on “view cart” on the top navigation bar. This will take you to your shopping cart.

  • To remove an item, Simply click “Remove“.
  • You can then re-add any item you want.
  • Shipping addresses are entered on the order form at checkout time.

How long will it take for my first issue to be delivered?
Most publishers take between 5 and 7 weeks to ship the first issue of a new subscription. Weekly publications take less time than monthlies, bi-monthlies usually take more time than monthlies. It depends on when in the magazine’s cycle your order is processed.

Why does it take so long?
Here are the steps that are included in delivering magazines to you: First we send your information to the publisher. Next, the publisher updates their massive database. Then the publisher prints the magazines. Mailing labels and packages are created. Finally, the magazines are mailed out. Fun tips before your magazine arrives: Pet the dog, bake those cookies, kiss your partner. Relax — with the money you are saving, it’s well worth the wait. And nobody does it better.

How do I make corrections to my order after I have submitted it and received confirmation?

How do I make corrections to my order after I have started receiving my magazine?
The fastest and easiest way is to call the toll-free number listed in the magazine. If you prefer, send Jake a note here, and he will take care of it for you.

Why are DiscountPress’s prices so much lower than the others?
Because of our unique relationships with publishers, we are able to receive discounted prices on your favorite magazines, and we pass those savings to you.

Are credit card transactions on DiscountPress safe?
Absolutely! In fact, it’s statistically safer to use your credit card over the internet than in a restaurant or department store. The DiscountPress servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an encryption technology that works with all web browsers including AOL, so that only DiscountPress can read a buyer’s personal information.

    How do I renew my current subscription?
    At check-out just choose Renewal. Please be sure to include your account number (found on your mailing label or renewal notice).

    Can I renew subscriptions I ordered from you at the same price?
    Yes! Renewals are welcomed at DiscountPress. We have the lowest prices for your favorite magazines

    How do I change my shipping address once the magazine starts to arrive?

    Does DiscountPress offer international subscriptions?
    We are currently unable to process subscriptions to customers outside the United States. This service will become available shortly. Until then, we would be pleased to help you locate information pertaining to specific publishers and subscription options.

    Does DiscountPress sell back issues of magazines?
    At this time, we are unable to sell individual copies of specific magazines or articles. We would be happy to help you locate publisher information that will allow you to contact the magazine directly. Just send us a note e-mail to Jake at on this page.

    I have searched your site extensively and can’t find my favorite magazine. Why don’t you carry it?
    We have several hundred magazine titles from which you can choose your favorite. If we do not have what you are looking for and you would like to suggest a magazine for us to carry, please contact Jake through this page. We welcome your suggestions.

    Our policy is that we will only accept order cancellations or give refunds within 72 hours of your order. After that time, we cannot give refunds.

    When we accept your order, we prepay the entire order in full. The publishers do not give us any kind of a refund. Also, we work with several external agencies with regards to order processing and incur many fees in processing your order that also are not refundable.

National Publishers Service was founded in 1981 by President and Owner Mr. William Figilis, adopting his Mcgraw-Hill Business Week innovative subscription program. 

    After 42 years, Jake, our news boy, William Figilis, and our customer service manager Sindia Rivera have decided to retire our operation to enjoy our lives more fully. During the Covid pandemic, many of our customers sought other ways to subscribe to magazines and enjoy their lives in a myriad of new ways with online digital subscriptions, social media, and Zoom meetings.

    We will continue to fill subscriptions through Jan 31st, 2023, for existing customers. After Feb 1st, 2023, any customers or online orders should be directed to individual magazines.
